How to start and stop a recording on your pc/laptop
- Start
If recording is enabled on your account, you will see a recording button.
To start a recording, click or tap the recording button, and wait for the button to change status.
You and your participants will also hear "The conference is now being recorded."
Participants who join after the recording has started will be informed that the call is being recorded.

- Stop
To stop a recording, simple click or tap the stop recording button.
Wait for the button to change status.
You and your participants will also hear "The conference is no longer being recorded."
On your computer browser
From the mobile app
- Once the recording is saved onto the system, you will receive an email "Your meeting recording is now available."

How to start and stop a recording on your phone
- Start
To start recording your conference, press ∗ 8 on your telephone keypad. Follow the voice prompts:
- Press ∗ 1 to confirm that you want to start recording your conference.
- Press ∗ 2 to return to the conference without enabling recording.
Participants who join after the recording has started will be informed that the call is being recorded.
To start recording
- Stop
To stop recording your conference, press ∗ 8 your telephone keypad. Follow the voice prompts:
- Enter ∗ 1 to stop the recording.
- Enter ∗ 2 to return to the conference.
To stop recording
- Once the recording is saved onto the system, you will receive an email "Your meeting recording is now available."

Recording for Events
If you're scheduling an event, you need to order recording while scheduling your event.
Types of events are BT Scheduled Event, BT Operator Assisted Event, BT Premium Event.
Your recording will be sent by the helpdesk according to the order.
BT Legal Hearing calls are always recorded as required by law. To obtain a copy of the recording, you need to request through the court.
